As a result, New Years is when everyone decides their goals, spend time with loved ones, or simply start their year with a bang (take the New York Test). Times Square celebrates the “Times Square New Year Ball Drop” sponsored in part by Toshiba, the Japanese conglomerate.
The Times Square New Year Ball Drop is part of NYC’s entertainment super-pack event.
In addition, it seems like star-power from all over the globe gets together in celebration. Previous Artists include Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Miley Cirus, J Cole, Wyclef Jean, Lil Mama, Sean Kingston among others. Toshiba has hosted the event for the past several years.
